3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear Collection
This look feels almost as sweet as the polkadot cheesecake! There's a light off-white yellow creaminess and sweet taste of dark and milk chocolate embodied with this look with the jacket, skirt, and pants. And those pops of light 80s pink and purple to add a subdued edginess to the overall look.
About the Collection~
Phillip Lim's inspiration came from an imaginary muse he created called Soleil, fitting her summery personality. Which I think is a twisted little way to put a spin on a fall collection by using a summery vibe. He does so by using the standard dark fall colors such as browns and beiges but adds pieces of spring and summary hues such as purple, pink, and green but with a dullness hue to them to not over take the fall feel.
